I’m Giselle Manzano Ramirez, a Colombian multidisciplinary designer, artist, and educator based in New York. My work bridges graphic design, art, fashion, and education, all rooted in storytelling and the exploration of communication.
I am the founder and creative director of KRATER, a non-profit organization transforming culture through creativity. KRATER reimagines the intersection of sustainable fashion design, performance art, and electronic music, providing an inclusive platform for emerging artists during New York Fashion Week.
At the core of my practice is the belief in art and design as tools for self-expression, healing, and connection. Grounded in creative healing, I view the artist and designer as a healer, creating platforms that foster personal and collective transformation.
My textile art explores themes of healing and transformation through experimental printmaking and deconstruction, which I teach in my Domestika masterclass, Textile Design: Upcycling Clothes with Experimental Techniques.
In graphic design, I craft visual identities and narratives that amplify voices and support cultural movements. My work has been featured in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Paper Magazine, Adobe Illustrator, and Creative Boom, and I’ve collaborated with artists, activists and organizations.
As an educator, I lead workshops in art, design, and languages, creating dynamic learning environments that inspire creativity, critical thinking, and cultural connection. My multidisciplinary approach explores visual, verbal, and nonverbal communication, using art, design, and language as tools for transformation.
Driven by the belief that creativity is a transformative force, I’m always open to collaborations, teaching opportunities, and projects that inspire connection and change.
